Session Spotlight #1

Building Readers One Book at a Time

Join Spartanburg District Two as we share various engaging topics and best practices we implemented that led to an increased love of reading. Our Summer Reading Camp served over 500 students ranging from grades 1st - 4th. Through STEM lessons, SEL character building text, and specific reading activities, we saw immediate gains and excitement in our students. We cannot wait to share all of the ways we continuously connected with our students, families, and community throughout the summer to keep reading a priority!
